i think i have chaeto, its green and sponge like. i have heard that you have to cut it to keep it growing and pulling nutrients out does anyone know how to do this? if so i would would be great help.

it is as easy as cutting it with a pair of sicors<sp? just cut about 1/4 of it back once it has grown about two monts then just cut it when it reaches the size you want it
