i was wondering if the following plans would work, a brief description of the plans would be that i wasn to add a fuge to my 20gallon sump, but i have to find some room, but if i can do it this way then it will be possible..

i see the pics and they are pics of a traditional fuge/sump setup, what i am leaning towards is one of my sump side walls, i will silicone three small walls to it, and make a hang on fuge inside my sump, so all i am doing is compacting the huge fuge to just a small box, the reasoning is that if people use the hangon back fuge's why can i do the same but inside my sump under the waterline
