**Refugium advice!

Hello all. I am adding a refugium to my 125g reef tank. I need some advice. I plan to have a "below tank" fuge with macro algae and a dsb for filtration/ water quality/ nitrate reduction. Then, I also am adding an above tank for pod farming and distribution throughout the display (so they wont get shredded in the return pump as they would with the below tank fuge). My question is this: For the above tank fuge... I am torn between a "hang-on-back" model and a "hang-in-tank" model. I think either would work. Any advice? Anyone know any pro's/ con's for either? I actually am planning to add 2 of the above tank fuges... one on either side of my 5' long tank. This would be a total of 3 fuge systems. LMK what you think!!!

IMO, the "in tank refugiums" are stupid. They just provide an area to put macro, lr rubble, and sand, so why not just have all that in your tank? The HOB models will provide more water volume (not tons, but still) as well as an extra place to put these things and a safe place for pods, ect.
PS: with a below tank refugium not tons of pods willbe killed and shredded since they are so tiny. You will still ahve a good pod supply from there.
