its going to be right to left, fuge, skimmer, return it is going to drain full speed into skimmer bay in the middle and drian controled by a ball valve into the fuge then return to the tank from the far left bay

How is the fuge working? I am picking up my 55 gal tank that I am converting into a fuge tomorrow. Any post hookup advice would be great. Thanks.

well right now i am just testing for leaks and instabilities in the baffles. all i can say for post hook up is make sure you have sufficiant spacing between baffles, take your time with the silicone, dont put baffles on the floor!!!! (my uncle helped me and stepped on one and broke it) and give it a couple days to dry and test it for a day or so like i am. Good luck keep us posted!!

Thanks, I will. Let me bounce this off of you. I'm thinking left to right for description sake. I have a 135 gal with a 30 gallon sump. When I built my house I built some spots in the wall for plumbing lines. I will replace my sump with a 55 gallon sump/fuge. This will be in my basement directly under the display tank. The overflows will follow 2X1" lines through the wall and directly into the top of the left side of the sump/fuge. Some skimmer socks will be aimed directly under the openings. This chamber of the fuge will hold the protien skimmer, heater and chiller coil. Than it will pass through a set of baffles just like yours. Than there will be the fuge part. Than I will have the pump suction chamber. This will presurize 2X 3/4" returns. What do you think? Also any ideas on a pump. Right now I run a 1/15th horse 50psi max CustomSeaLife pump. My sump instead of in the cabinet will be directly under the display tank except 9' lower. A lot more head added. I work in the swimming pool industry. I have access to a lot of pumps I believe everything that I might get to be too powerfull.
What are the measurments for the heigth differences in baffles and partitions.

i have about an inch difference between the partitions, (the center is about 1-1 1/4" taller than the 2 outer) never really took that measurment into consideration but thats how they ended up. plus the center one is almost up to the top of course to allow water to flow underneath it
