I thought a refugium was created in part to protect things from fish. Veggies can be grown without fish eating them and pods for the same reason. I guess you could, I just would wonder "why?"
Good Luck!

You also tend to leave the light on a lot more in
a refugium to get the algae growth you want.I think the fish would be extremely stressed out.

I think you need a higher k bulb for greens.I'm not sure if it was fshhub or predator that mentioned a simple plant growth light from walmart
regular screw in bulb would work. You also don't need to add the fish because it is all connected any nitrates caused in your main tank by waste or decaying food should flow through the Refugium. How long are you leaving the lights on for.

Leave the fish out of the refugium. Just put some macro algae, DSB (or miracle mud if you can afford it), and a little live rock. You can put a couple snails in there if you want to as well.
