well, I guess if I see any signs of them going south on me I can get them in the DT and pray for the best. I'm looking for a cheap light to use over the 10g for QT, but they aren't all that easy to come by.

You may lose some color but it should come back when it goes in the DT. Let us know how it works out.

I picked up two of these 18WATT units and build a little stand to hold them both. would that be too much for an 8"x12"x10" (10" water depth) fuge?
