I have a 20 high setup side by side with my my tank, which is a 90 gallon, that I'm using for my refugium. I'm using a Coralife 20 Inch Aqualight which is 28watts. I'm planning on buying some chaeto and running reverse timer. My question is does the light being on overnight bother the fish? I ask because it seems like whenever I turn on the lights in the room after the aquarium lights go off some fish seems to get agiated. Thanks ahead of time.
p.s. previously I had been placing a blanket over main aquarium to reduce light from other aquarium.
