refugium question..

hey guys. okay here is the deal. I have a hang on the behind refugium setup. with Chaetomorpha Algae. one problem is saw was sometimes bits and pieces of Chaetomorpha Algae go to the main display tank. Would this mean they will start growing in main display tank? i would hate that What should i do??

It shouldnt grow in your display tank.

It most definitely can grow in your DT. But it can be eaten and it does not “root” so you can easily remove it

the cheato will most likely be eaten or wither away if it gets behind the rockwork. cheato needs light and flow, so the one that has a chance to grow could easily be removed, since it will be out in the open.
