Refugium return

I only have a 10g refugium on my 150, due to limited space in the stand... It's a FO with very little rock. I want to put a skimmer on the tank. I only have about 5"-6" behind the tank. I was thinking of putting a HOT berlin skimmer on my refugium and use the skimmer's return to take water back to the tank.. Is this possible???? If not, what other options do I have????

wow a 10 gal fuge on a 150gal tank. You are not going to get much help out of that I'm afraid. Try turning it into a sump instead of a fuge and using an insump skimmer.
Check out myreef, he makes great stuff.

I've only had it setup for a couple of months now and the amount of life in there is amazing. I've got "bugs" that are upto 14" long....The refugium is doing exactly what I want it to do... I need skimmer options.

well if you don't like that idea..a pretty good one if I do say so myself. :D just know that it isn't recommended to skim your fuge water as it takes out a lot of what those pods eat.
just out of curiousity did you just set up the fuge to get pods in your tank? Are you seeing a lot of them in your 150?

not seeing alot in the tank yet. From time to time I'll net some and put them in the main tank. I also use the fuge to grow calurpa...
