Refugium / sump setup up what do you think , it is kinda different than traditional

I am setting a fuge up with 2 seperate macro algea and DSB compartments , anyway Comments or maybe even some help would be appreciated

i'm going to listen to waht people have too say so just ignore me. That picture makes it look easy on how to set one up.

first, the empty space that the water flows into is not necessary as heaters and other equipment can be put in the fuge or sump.
second, why are there two refugiums and why is this necessary?
third, where is your protein skimmer?

you think stuff could just flow in and out easily in two smaller dsb compartments or in one longer compartment?

One before the filter sponge and one after , so what should i do with the empty chamber ???? my protien skimmer is sending the water from my main tank to the sump/fuge

UHM . Not to shoot your plan down but this isn't very functional as far as a 10 gallon goes. What size display tank is this for. The baffel and sponge are not needed they are just wasting space . also you don't want your water level that high. if your pump fails you refugium/sump will over flow onto the floor .

Creative thought, but IMO probably not as effective as the traditional set up. For two separate refugium chambers in a 10 gallon, they would have to be pretty small. IMO, more stuff would grow in one larger chamber with the macro and dsb. Also, it would be harder for the light to be directly over one chamber or the other. JMO.

hmmmmm ok so what are we lookin at baffle-wise , are you adding baffles ??? looks like you put another in but it is also wasting space let me draw up what it looks like your trying to come up with give me a minute
