Will a 22 gallon refugium/sump tank be large enough to support a 135 gallon reef tank?
Thanks for the help

a 55 should be fine. Just for referance I am planning a 90g to go under my 210. you need room for your return pump, heater, skimmer a media bag, and any thing else you want down there. and if you want a fuge you will need about 20 inches to get the flow through your fuge so it will be the most efective

JMO< it wont overflow, if you are using overflow boxes, just leave enough space for a drainback. Im only using a 10 gal under my 55 Tank size doesn't really have an effect on what ur refuge size should be, that only depends upon your preference, and ur BIOLOAD

yes you could use the 22 as a fuge and add a 30 gal or somthing like that, it would work fine
