refugium

Has anyone had any success with the prefab refugiums? I have seen both HOB and in tank models. I wanted to know if it would be possible to grow pods in either of these...anyone have thoughts and/or experience?

I have been running a HOB fuge since Thanksgiving. All is going well. I have chaeto, ls and some lr rubble. I have seen a few pods to date!

great! I was hoping to get positive responses. At some point I want to have a manderine...and pods are the food of choice...lol. My hubby is unablre to help with the plumbing of a "real" refugium, as he lost an arm in an accident...so I am on my own. :jumping:
Anyone else?

i lost the use of an arm in an "accident" but i basically have to do everything with one hand --makes it fun and interesting.

I have a HOB with LR,LS, and chaeto and TONS of pods. I've had it up for about 5 months. I love it! It's a nice alternative if you don't have room under your tank for a fuge.
