I would like to put a fuge on top of my tank. I built my tank in the wall and I only have 7" of space above my Lights to get a container in. After it is in I have about 12" of height to work in so I can get a light in and still be able to work on it. I would like to know if this would be a deep enough refugium. It could be up to 4' long and 18" from front to back. I guess my question is would there be any benifit with such shallow water and obviously a shallow sand bed.
