I have been wondering for a while which is more reliable........Liquid test kit by AQ. Pharm or Quick Dip strips by Jungle??
I get differnt readings on nitrate. I have a big problem with nitrate, can't seem to keep it down no matter what. With the Liquid Test it's always a standard .40 when I back that up with a dip strip it's between .20 and .40 but usually .20.
Also, Mr. Salty and FlyDan suggest switching from c/c to live sand. Mr. Salty recommends the sand from this bb. Am very interested in getting 20#. I have a 40 al f/o. Would love input on how about switching over. Search didn't really answer my questions:
20# enough sand?
What do I do with the 2 fish, 1 shrimp, 7 crabs?
Will this enable me to have more than 2 fish in this tank?
Will this keep the nitrates down?
What do I do with c/c?
