i have a remora c in a 55 g fo tank that has been established for about a year now with 5 fish in it. My question is that i have had the skimmer running for about 6-7 weeks now and it is still producing micro bubbles and no foam in the cup, is this normal?

I have had mine running on my tank for about 2 1/2 weeks now and it is producing foam and still producing microbubbles. It took it about a week to start producing foam. Are you using any water conditioners or anything in your tank that may cause it not to work?

do you have your cup too high?what pump do you have on it?the pump might too small.

no water conditioners and i have the cup all the way down. The pump i am using is a maxijet 1200

I have the maxijet 1200 too.... That is so strange that yours is not working. Do a google search for the company that makes the remora. I think it is something like protienskimmer.com. Send them an email. I have emailed them before and they replied quickley and seemed eager to help. They may be able to help you with this issue.
