remora pro prefilter

Does anyone have experience with the prefilter box attachment used with the AquaC Remora pro? Is it really worth the $40? My concern is that it will be a headache since water will evaporate from it so quickly and I'm afraid the pump will run dry.

I ordered it and expect to receive it later this week. I'll let you know what I think, but I haven't seen many complaints about this skimmer.

i purchased the skimmer last week. It's great but i bought mine with the drainer hole in the collection cup. I like it but the plumbing for the hole reduces the amount you can raise the collection cup.

Sharky-I don't understand the problem with the collection cup. I also bought it with the drainer hole. The drainer hole prevents using the cup at a few heights, but you can still raise the cup all the way.
