Ok this is a pic of a worm that has been in my tank for a few months. He stays under the sandbed. Ive never seen him out in the open. This pic is not of my worm but of someone elses. It pretty much looks exactly like what i have. Should i remove it or leave it? Not sure if it had something to do with my bullseye mushroom disappearing. Pretty sure its a predatory eunicid worm.

Yep looks like a Eunicidae Worm to me. You can get rid of it if you choose or perhaps banish it to a refugium

Does it eat anything you do not want it too? Thats answers the question. Then just ask yourself if you like to look at it?

Larger species have been known to bring a fish down into the sand and eat them. But I'm talking about larger than your going to usually find in your aquarium. The ones we find in our tanks are usually scavangers, but ones that you keep one eye on anyway.
They are really quite neat! Before tossing it just think, your the only one on the block that owns a pet like that.
Your choice keep him or get rid of him.

He is actually keeping the front of my sandbed between the glass clean. He has slowly worked his way all the way to the other side of the tank. I just dont want to lose sight of him and have problems. I can probably easily remove him with tweezers. I guess now would be the time before he disappears.
