removing scratches from acryllic

recently purchased a used 135 acryllic tank. This will be my first acryllic set up as all previous tanks have been glass. The tank has some very light scratches on it and I would like to get it in "as new" condition as possible before setting it up. What is the best scratch kit out there and how difficult is it to buff out light scratches (I have zero experience working with acryllic).

I use and highly recommend the Rainbow Lifegard scratch remover kits. I bought my 180g for dirt cheap because it had scratches all on the inside of the tank but I bought this kit at my lfs for $30 and It is WELL worth it. It has worked wonders on my tank. It can even be used under water with fish in the tank(although they recommend taking them out to be safe). It is very easy to use(although VERY tiring) you just sand the scratches away.

It's not really sand paper that comes with it, its more like sand cloth. And it comes with about 8 sheets, each of them a different size of sand I guess you could say. You start with the courser sheets to remove the deeper scratches and move down to the finer sheets to remove the finer ones. I did the all of the inside of the front with it and it can still be used many more times.
