I have picked out a replacement set of light for my eclipse3. The only problem i am having is trying to find something to cover the space that is 30"x9". I do have to cover it since my snowflake likes to try and get out.

it's just a temp home for about 6 more months. I'm looking for a good 125g setup for him. My current setup is 29g but the opening that i gave is for the current section where the light is. I was just concerned if glass would be the best thing to use for the opening.

I had an Eclipse 3 hood on my 37 gallon too. We actually took it completely off and my husband built a new canopy with 3 sets of pc's. You can buy the glass tops for a 29 gallon and cut it down to what you need. I think I paid $11.00 for mine.
