Hi All. I had my tank took a nose dive when the power went out recently and I am trying to get the tank back on its feet. I had the got the tank back and running with correct water params, and decided that I will re-seed the tank with some more live rock. this is all going well and I am going through a cycle right now, but wanted to make sure that I am doing this correct.
I have read in other threads that too large a water change will remove beneficial good bacteria, as well as having high Ammonia, which is where I am in the cycle right now, can also kill it. How bad and for how long does it have to get before the bacteria is gone, and is there easy ways to replenish it?
