when you do a post: the world icon is the one that looks like the earth and a little infinity sign under it. to copy you highlight whatever you want (holding down the shift button, then move the curser over what you want copied) then hit CTRL-C buttons. this puts it into memory in the computer. then do a reply here, and hit CTRL-V and it should copy whatever you highlighted.
