retrofit hood?

i have two striplights on my ten gallon that i want to retrofit-either a 28watt pc or 32watt in them.i already have reflectors in the hood-so i need to know where i can get the rest of the stuff-ballast and ends that the bulbs plug into. what type of ballast do i need for 28watt or 32? i want to do this in a way that doesn't cost me too much. does homedepot have ballasts that work? please email me with answers thanks- flusz@aol.com

Look for RETROFIT KITS.Most online vendors have them.These kits contain all the components that you are looking for to compleate your project.

only problem with the ones i find they include a reflector and i have them,plus they are kinda pricy?

HelloLights.com is probably the best site to get anything that you need in the lighting area. I am getting an awesome set up from them, and it too is a retrofit kit, I have to get it instead of the hood because I only have 5" vertical room in my canopy, and the hoods are 6" and the retrofits are only 4".
