If your tank is not drilled is this a good way to return water from sump to DT? What if you were planning on using pvc?
looks fine to me, the more flexible tubing the better IMO... i use a short piece of clear tubing right out of my UV sterilizer... sterilzer is mounted to the tank, the return pump pumps up to it then the discharge from the UV goes back into the tank.

IMO, I would use PVC pipe with loc-line. It gives you more options on how you want to direct the flow than what you posted, but what you have pictured will work too.

You can you two 90's to get over the rim of your aquarium and then use whatever fittings to plumb in what you want to use for a return point. I just used a "T" and sections of PVC capped at the ends with holes drilled along the length, but you could adapt to connect the locline and configure it however you like.

So if I wanted to use "A", does the one end glue on the pvc as the female end?
No. You would have to use a threaded 90 degree PVC then use K to

into that, and then you can use A and if you want you can even put on B, J or C.
