Return Line Size

I'm in the process of building my sump/fuge for my 55. I will be using a quiet 1 3000 pump for my return. My question is what size return line should I use? Thanks

1" if possible, your bulkhead (if using a drilled tank) will be the limiting factor. If your tank is like mine the bulkhead for my return is 3/4". Hope this helps.

Yup. I use 1", then reduced to 3/4" right at the tank.
