return Pump filters

Ok here is a question how many of you run a filter on your return pump? Does it prevent pods and such from getting pumped up top? Just a thought

I dont run a filter on my pump, though i do use sock filters. ,,, They just slow the flow to much. I dont have any pods, so that is not my worry.

By the time the water reaches the return pump it should be pretty clean, so I don't see the point.

cool thats what i was thinking just did a water change and looked at the filter on the pump and said WTF

IMO it slow the flow down that it would be pointless, and like said eariler it should be clean enough already so what is the point.
