Return Pump??? HELP!

My Little Giant external return pump just died.
I need to replace it ASAP.
Suggestions?
I have a 55 gallon and don't know how much flow/what the best brand return pump is.

well, it broke so unless I'm told this is the execption I'll try my luck with another brand.
Mostly I was interested in knowing what a good return pump that runs quietly and is energy effeicent may be.
Any suggestions?

DG, how long did you have the pump? Did you do the recommended maintenance? I only ask because, in general, I've heard good things about the Little Giant brand.

I have an oceanrunner as my return from a 15 gallon sump with an aquaclear overflow. My protein skimmer is louder than the pump...I love it.

I have a little gaint and I really like it. Did you put oil in it every 6 months How long did you have itr before it died.
