I have a 120 gal tank with a little giant pump :notsure: dont no how many gph it pumps but has a valve on the return side cause it pumps more the the overflow can handle. It is an external pump. Im looking to get a internal pump so my questions r????
The L=2ft x W=10 in H=1ft the "sump area is" 1'2" from the overflow is 1 1/4 bulkhead
The overflow box is from side view L=3 1/4 inc x W=7"in x H=4 1/2in
The overflow from the side view L=7" x W=4" x H=1'5"
the bulkhead is a 1 1/2 but reduces to 1 1/4
Can any one help me out with the info i have given???.and what r some good insump pumps
thanks for any replies Mike

I'm a little confused on how your overflow is setup with the dimensions you provided. Is this a syphon overflow, or is the tank drilled on the back or the bottom?

Mag Drives are decent submersible pumps, but why do you want to change to a submersible pump? I read you don't know the gph on the Little Giant... What is the size of the Little Giant pump? Should have a label on the housing and you should be able to go to any site that carries the pumps and get a rough idea on gph, but that depends again on line size if the output is restricted and how many bends and elbows your using in the return line as well

Insert a ball valve... then you can control your output to make it out put just as much as your overflow can handle... Cheaper too...
misread the top... you have balvalve already.... so why would you want to goto an internal pump? Personally id like to move mine outa the sump so I have more water and room for other things.

air build up in syphon could limit overflow. Is there not enough room to install a bulkhead and have the intake for the pump level with it? Seems like you are making the pump work harder drawing the water up and out. Also was equipment bought used?
