Reusing / Recycling Tank Water

I was thinking about how much water I toss. Is it possible to recycle it and use back into the system? Or is the water to far depleted to have anything worth while to put back in? Does anyone do this or something similar?

Honestly, I wouldn't reuse it. I have used tank water from one tank that I took out during a water change to jump start another tank though.
I guess it all depends on the demand of your tank. Have you ever tested your water when you remove it during a water change? Just a thought

I use old tank water to rinse my media in during water changes. That way I save the good bacteria and still clean the yuck off. That is about as recycled as you can do with it.
