Reveal lights....

Hi i was just wondering i saw in someone elses post that they had were using 40w reveal bulbs like from lowes....where ever.....are these bulbs of the correct spectrum...i know the have a blue coating but are they okay for tank use...also if they are useful did you use the frosted blue or the clear blue.....i don't remember who's post it was.......thanks.....

frosted blue. sammy told me he said he used them once be4, i have 4 60w. work like a charm with my pc

so you have 4 60w reveal bulbs over your tank....does it look good....have you noticed any unwanted algae growth....i am interested in this!

yeah that was my next question sammy....thanks....i mean its not that i need them or anything i mean i have 175w MH and 130w of PC atinics on my 36g tank but i saw this in a post and i was very curious about it....thats all....thanks for the advise.....

OKAY SAMMY.....I NEVER SUGGESTED THE USE OF THESE BULBS ON REEF TANKS I WAS JUST ASKING A SIMPLE QUESTION OUT OF CURIOSITY.......YOUR POINT IS MAID AND WELL TAKEN! THANKS
