Originally I posted a question on algea controling my tank. Mr. Salty mentiond Reverse Osmosis, it sounds good, but I would like to learn a little bit more, about it?
What do I need to set it up?
I have a 75gal. fish only tank, with a 350 magnum pro filter system, along with a seaclone protein skimmer.
Any advice and help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks Greg

RO is a type of water filtration. You can buy RO units that you can hook up to your household water suppy or you can buy RO water from a LFS or from a water vending machine.
The RO process removes many impurities from the water.

You will need to buy an R/O filtration unit. Ther are a ton of them on the market, I like Kent but they are all pretty good.

A R/O unit is designed to remove almost everything except for the water itself. Including metals and trace elements of most all kinds. And you dont have to spend an arm and leg to get the kent one either there are some others out there that work just as well if not better.
