rewiring NOs for more output

I read in a previous post that you can rewire a NO balast for more output. Where can I find out how to do this? I'm at work right now so I'm not sure what brand my strip lights are, but they are the ones that came with the tank.

Never heard of that..
And personaly don't think it is possible.A 40watt flo tube will burn out if more than 40watts is applied to it...Wont it???

That post you are reffering to was about overdriving NO bulbs. All you do is get a two bulb ballast, and wire all of the leads to one bulb, hence overdriving. It can be hazardous though. They were having problems with premature bulb end blackening, and blackening end caps. Too much heat in the bulbs I assume.
If you want to see the safe way to do this, check out www.garf.org They use Ice Cap ballasts to overdrive NO bulbs, with much sucess......HTH
