Rhodactis Mushroom

I picked a rhodactis mushroom up from work (Premium Aquatics in Indy) today and I had a couple question about it.
1- This has a VERY large foot compared to other mushrooms, it resembles a foot of an anemone...have clownfish been known to ever host in rhodactis mushrooms?
2- Can I spot feed like I do with other corals?

How about a picture?
I never feed mine....and they seem to be fine, BUT yes....you can
you never know with a clownfish

I have had orange, purple and green rodactus, as they are my favorite mushrooms. They do split, and if they can get ahold of food in the water, they will accept a treat or two by wrapping around it. Mine stay relitivly small, 3 inches across, then split. Mine only have big bases if they are reaching out to the light........

I wouldn't mind getting a blue one...that would seem like it would be pretty cool
seems like there is more than enough green in this hobby

I just checked on it like 25 minutes ago and it looks like it is splitting into 2...its starting to form the shape of an 8
from my understanding, some mushrooms are like anemones and split when stressed out
hopefully I'll wake up tomorrow and have 2!

My experience with rodactus is they are very slow splitters, mine have taken week plus to finish off a split once started! I hope ya have 2 by morning, they rock!

ITS a matter of wording, if you are the host you are providing the place, hence the mushrooms are "hosting" the clown fish. The clown fish are the guest's, looking for a home...... Hence:

no my mushrooms host the clown
It was a thread a while back.......
Mushrooms enjoy a spot feed from time to time.
