UGH...In my 225G I have an orange, blue and rainbow ricordea
the orange split...the smaller one was under the larger, and tonight the larger detached from the rock
LUCKILY I was able to find it...all lights are out though so for now I placed it in a container with some rubble in my refugium....
Should I do anything else with it...or just leave it for a week and see if it attaches???
Why do I read over and over that everyone elses rics split and spread...why do mine run off
....shouldn;t it stay put???

My guess...
Maybe you have too much water flow? In the bottom of the tank where most folks keep mushrooms and recordea coral where is very little flow because they don't want to disturb the sand. So I was thinking maybe flow has something to do with it.
I keep my zoa up high in direct water flow, so that theory does not apply your run away zoos…
