Ricordea issue

Well, i got an amazing Ricordea from someone at a local frag swap about a month ago. Blue one. attached it to a rock and put it in the tank. Its about 1/2 of the way up from the bottom in the tank (40 breeder). It was doing fantastic. a few days ago, I noticed that it started to not open up as much in when the lights come on. Just came home from work and its not looking well at all. Its not expanded at all, lots fairly flat and a bit deflated... if that makes sense. Water params are all fine. Not lighting changes.
Changes have been, 1 very small clown and 1 very small yellow watchman goby have been introduced in the past 2 weeks. I also added another white ric I picked up. Its in a totally different part of the tank, same deal with that one, the first few days it looked great, now its not looking so hot, also not open much.
I only worry because (esp the first one) it was doing well for a while, i figured it had settled in.
Any ideas or suggestions?
No current pics, but this was a pic of when I first put it in:

Now its all scrunched in on the right side, looks very unhappy

what are your water perams, how many gallons is your tank and how many watts of light r u running? and for your lights what kind are they? alot of coral will look really sweet in peoples tanks for a few days until they cant take it anymore and start to give out a week or 2 later so i dont count the coral as lookin good i wait atleast 2 weeks and then start to call it good looking or not doing well.. i once had a leather looked really strong for 2 weeks then it started to fail and just died on me i tried returning it but they couldnt bring it back.

; Like fishstick, I'm guessing the lights; try moving it lower or turning it sideways so its perpendicular to the open top of your tank, that should reduce the light hitting it. While these grow in shallow water, they usually grow on the face of rocks so they don't receive as much light.

water params are good, 40 breeder with a 40 breeder sump/refuge. currently have 288wats of PC lighting. Its doing better, and it looks like one side is growing more than the other, so i am guessing a split. First time seeing it!

What do you attach your frags with? I have a ric that was ordered from SWF a couple of months ago and it is on a very small rock. I have tried supergluing it, but it will not stay. My urchin has developed a liking to it and is constantly carrying it off!

I got it at a frag swap. Its was on a *tiny* bit of rock. I super glued it to a larger rock, has been happy.
