what about pick-up I'm in Pensacola.
Would you mind if I recommend you to Water World? He has some nice ones and though they cost a few dollars more I like to reserve what I have for those that do not have access to them. I guarantee you that Richard has some nice colors there right now. I was just there today shooting the bull and checked them out. They really are not that much more than mine $ wise and it would be easier for yourself and myself instead of trying to hook up since I live in Milton and though I work in Pensacola not convienent to take them to work with me. I can pretty much guarantee that you will find some nice ones there.

who is he and where is he?I'd be willing to check some out whenever its easiest for everyone.
Water World is a local reef shop/freshwater store over behind Sub way on 9th and Langley. They are more the high end shop amd don't haggle about prices (the price you see is the price you pay) but do get nice corals in. LPS is their main selection. Really though, for what they have available the prices are good. Check the place out. Nice selection of fish both S/W and F/W. And like I said, has a nice selection of rics. If you haven't been there before I think you will be quite pleased with the store.
I think theya re open M-Sat 10-6

I may be in Gulf Shores this weekend. If your going to be home Sat or Sunday afternoon, would you mind if I stopped by to look at your tank?

I'm not going to be around much this weekend unfortunatly and planning on being out of town next. Could ship for very cheap where you are though. If you are in Pensacola stop by Water WOrld. Some nice rics there if yo are looking to pick some up. Mike

Thanks, looks like we are going to visit the inlaws instead of the beach. Can you give me a quick tutorial on care of the rics requirements?

Are all of these Ricordea aqua cultured? If so do have cites where all these varieties came from? Or were they collected from the wild? Tim

All I make available are fragged in my tanks and grown out.
Don't understand your question "If so do have cites...". Do you means what city I live in? Pensacola area. No rics in the Gulf up here. Or do you mean do I know the city I got each one from? ouch! That would be a record keeping nightmare.
I imagine origionally all were collected from the wild. I have couple 20 longs with ricordea both florida (Caribbean) and yuma (Pacific). I have collected them from others over the last couple years. I don't live where I can collect them myself. Total number I have-I don't know. I try to count them at times but get tired after 300 or so. Difficult to know how to count those splitting, are they considered 1 or 2 or 3? One day they can be counted as one and a week later they look like 3.

Most are specimens I am working into a display that will be nothing but ricordea florida. I am having trouble deciding which tank to go with. I am stuck on nanos so am concidering an Aquapod 24 with MH.
But unfortunatly I came upon picos as of late so now am working on a 3gl pico that overflows to a small bottom base with a hidden mini sump. Think it would be cool to have a 3gl packed with different colored rics in it.
Flroridas are very easy to care for and aquaculture. If they have multi-mouths they can be cut between the mouths and regrown to full in 1-2 weeks. They can also be placed near high light, fed heavily and they will split.
Yumas are touchy. They are a subject I do not like to get into much unless helping someone that is having trouble with them. Prefer PM. There is just too much to say about them.

Tryed to answer it in prior posts on this thread. Hope it helps. Maybe also post in the coral section. There are many here on the forum that can give good advice.

I am afraid not. All I have left are going into my display but as soon as I am finished with that I will frag some again. Thanks
