First thing is to drill the tanks. The system will comprise of 4x20 longs with refugium and sump. I started drilling with this ancient drill I got hold of and ended up drilling about every spare tank I have. I only have 1 of the 20s waiting for the other to come in at the LRS.
I love this thing. The holes a re perfect. No chips inside or out. Takes some time. has a carbon bit. I build a dam with plumbers putty and add graphite and water and go to town.

Here is the beginnings of the stand. I still need to add a couple legs and will eventually enclose it. It will hold 2 20s on each side and the center will be open for plubing to the 30 long sump that will go into the center bottom. The fuge is in place and will feed from and back into the sump.

OK. GOt all 4 of the 20longs up and running witha 30gl sump. Seems to be working out so far except that I am already running out of room. I am planning on moving most of the LR and chaeto to a tank that will set near the sump and feed directly into. just need a couple more 1" bulkheads. This will free up one more tank for corals. There are 2 Tiger pistols, 1 Randals goby, 2 yellow watchmans and a Yellowstriped Maroon pair in the tank, and I don't really know if I am going to keep them or not. i will probably set-up a separate system for them if I decide to keep them.

that is awesome i am working on setting up a 40g breeder...still trying to work the drain pipe height to have good main tank and sump tank levels...right now sump level is ok but if i turn the skimmer on it will dry the sump
