Paid $35 for the ric on the right. I know it was way too much but I wanted it.
Two weeks ago I found the ric on the left for $7.99 and it looks to be the same color ric and I think it has a couple little baby rics to the left of it.

that is a nice ricordia,,,but $35....I usually pay around $10 for purple's or blue's and orange's.
But if your happy that's all that matters ..right?

lfs here has a piece of lr with 2 orange rics on it for $65.00. too much for me but it is nice looking.

All the Ricordia's that I have seen are usually about a quarter in size and they are $40.00just for that single one.
Once I saw one that was a couple of inches maybe 3 or so and it was $80.00 just for that single one.

Well I just phone the LFS I deal with and here in Canada they only ship them in single frags not even attached to anything, the size of a quarter for....are you ready..... $50.00 CDN..... :scared:
Guess I won't be having any of those in my tank......

fishy gurl----I just got an order in today. Green and purple rics ...and blues with pink mouths . I will get some shots of em tomorrow. The polyps were 12.00 each and they are about size of a quarter already....I think your lfs is a little high

around here (MAINE) ric go for about 40 bucks eack if they are the size of a nickle. sad but true everything is so expensive marine tank wise up here.

Hey, don't feel bad. Canada is worse at some things saltwater. Plus we don't have the wide variety that you all have either. They only bring in things that are easy or that sells best: mushrooms, zooz, polyps, leathers (some), anemones (very limited). They will however specail order things in if they can get them and believe me you pay.

Well I guess I didn't get the worst deal on the big one but the one on the left will soon look like the one on the right so I figure that is the best deal so far at $7.99

Man, you guys are lucky. I've never seen rics for sale at any lfs. I have an orange and a green but I got them both here.

Rics are not very light demanding and rather easy to care for.
