I have the opportunity which is very very rare here to buy a single orange green around the rim ricordia for $25 CDN that is priced at $55.00 normally. I would get it at cost basically. Is this a good deal or not??
I have searched the sites here and this seems to be the going price for most with some being around the $15 range.
So now, I would like to know what are the main requirements for rics??
I have had no troubles growing big huge mushrooms in the past under PC lighting would this be the same for a ric??

flricordea has rics available right now for 15 dollars. 25 is not super high, but higher than i would pay.
if you have kept mushrooms, then ricordea should do fine, they have about the same requirements, just alot more expensive. they might not have as much color as ones do when they are under metal halide or t-5 though

I agree... Flric has a great price but unless you buy more than one the shipping included will be more than what you can get yours for. I would say its a fair price.. esp if they are almost double that normally.

I live in Canada so cannot get anything from the USA. There are a few places here that have them for a very dear price so I will go with this one offered to me for 25.00
Say, do you know what is the difference between the florida type and the yuma type just looking at them??
I was told that this one is a the yuma type but sometimes they are labelled wrong too.

You have to remember that Canada does not get those great deals. We pay dearly for all saltwater stuff here. Count yourself lucky.
If I could order from the USA I and thousands of others would too.
