There are many things more aggressive than ricordea, but they can still sting and be stung by others. Just research, be smart about the placement, and leave room for growth/spreading.
Most usual reef critters will not eat ricrodea and they are hardy in aquaria.

Thanks, I have a good spot for one too. Do they grow fast?
Not like their cousin the mushroom... I had one the size of a quarter, a month later it is probably the size of a silver dollar.

That will be good, this way you can kinda get used to it without it all of a sudden taking over everything.
Wouldn't mind it taking over everything....

What keeps the ricordia from floating away? Is there something I need to do? Right now it is just laying on rock
It has a foot that it will attach to something. Typically the best way to place it is let it attach to some rubble then glue it to where ever you want it.
So I am guessing that one of my ricordia's is actually one...and the other is 4-5 different ones attached to eachother? I had already placed them on rock w/o glue, so do you think they will attach themselves??

No rics can have multiple mouths on one piece. They'll eventually split into several different ones.
yeah it can if it wants to stay there.
