Ricordias and MH

For those of you with Ric's and MH lighting, how far away do you place them from the light, I realize that MH may to bright for them and I'm trying to figure out where to place the ones that I just ordered.

My Rics are about 1.5 feet to 2 feet from the MH's... and they love it they are getting HUGE!.. I have mushrooms only 1 foot away from them and they are growing and spreading very fast also

Ricordia FL will do fine just about any place you want. Yuma ricordias LOVE the light. the more the better so higher up would be great

My rics are very high up in the tank w/ my MH and they are HUGE HUGE HUGEEEEEEEE loving the light

The ones I ordered are collected in the Florida keys, should I place them high or low. Running 250MH's with dual actinics

ya i keep mine on the sand and they are booming. i dont think it would hurt to put them up higher though.

i keep mine pretty close to the top loving the MH.They are huge :joy:
