to do really high rock work with stacked rocks do u have to just balance them on top of eachother or is there some osrt of glue or something i should use????

They do make epoxy you can use but I have good results by just trying to lock the pieces together naturally...by using the shape of the rock to kinda key into each other.

Epoxy can be used to "lock" pieces in place...I've also seen folks use lock ties to secure LR structures....but I'd avoid any method to "lock" LR in place....consider the problems if you'd ever need to remove all the LR or if you needed to re-arrange for some reason. I've had to work on a 240 gal display with about 200 lbs of LR tied together with lock ties and believe me it was no fun tryin' to seperate the individual pieces. I prefer just hand building the structure carefully to insure each piece is secure & stable....that way if the need arises you can easily move individual pieces.
