Rio 1400 Replacement?

I need to replace my Rio 1400 that came with my AquaC Remora Pro. Something with the same size slip feed would be the easiest. Any suggestions? Thanks.

They alternate pump they list on their site is a mag 3. Mags are good pumps from what I hear.

Do you think a Mag 5 would be pushing too much water?

Honestly don't know, as I don't have a AquaC.

I would go with the mag 3. It probably wouldn't skim as good with a bigger pump.

I personally think sticking with the Rio will be the best...Its quiet and works great for the price
