I believe you're right. I will have to wait until next month to purchase one but I dont need it right away anyhow. Ive had one once before and it worked well.

I mix in a seperate container, as I don't want to get salt or anything else in the resevoir since I also use unsalted water to clean stuff like filter pads, test gear (Vials, syringes, etc) and my refractometer.
I'll use a 5g bucket if doing a waterchange on the QT, or a larger tote if for the DT.
