as you can see with teh title.... i bought a 10gpd ro unit from the hardware store yesterday. it was a good deal and was on sale. i needed one so i picked it up. anyhoo it is an ro unit with two big canisters on the bottom and the filter on top. there is not a di included and i wanted to see about getting one. ( there is a pic of the product at homedepot.com you can find it by running a search for reverse osmosis) can you add a di unit to an ro filter? im a little confused.

Their should be a plug on one end before it goes up to the RO filter.
This is where a DI can be added. The water line will just have to be routed to the DI last.

I got mine on e bay for $100 and it works really good. 110 gpd and ppm are at 4. I now they could be lower but thats better than the 165ppm in my tap water.
