RO/DI installation question

I just installed my RO/DI unit. The water is flowing to the RO membrane, and I have water flowing to the drain, but no water is going into the DI chamber.
Any idea what's going on here? I followed the instructions to the T.

How long did you give it to fill? It takes quite a few minutes to fill the 2 RO canisters, plus the membrane, all of course depending on the gph yours is rated.

It's a 100gpd - up and running for 1/2 hour so far. Now I'm not getting any out of the drain line.
At that point I'd take it all apart and put it back together. It almost sounds like the membrane isn't attached properly or something.

Tighten down the fittings a little. That should take care of the problem. If not, you can use gel superglue, generously, and only if you don't want to take that fitting apart. Stops leaks though. Had the same problem myself.

.... will try the gel superglue. I tried plumber's putty and the tape stuff, but it was still leaking.
Back to the store ... again.

How much RO/DI water do you get? Mine is like for every gallon of good water, I had to throw away 2 gallons of the bad water. Is this normal?

Yes, that is normal. I often put my waste water line into the clothes washing machine to fill it up... it's not really all that dirty, and since soap is going in there...

I to put it the waste in the water machine, tds going into ro is 275 and the waste water is like 400 tds going into the washer

I love that idea, I put mine in my laundry room on the wall beside the washing machine anyways. My TDS going in is only 125ish, hadn't checked going out the waste side.
