RO/DI question

how fast should the water be coming out of the waste tube? and how fast out of the r/o tube? should one be coming out faster then the other?

Should come out the waste about 4 to 5 times faster than the RO tube. All depends on the gpd rating of the membrane. For a 100 gpd you will get around one gallon every 15 minutes of filtered water.

It still takes about 5 gallons of waste water to make 1 gallon of good water. The gallons per day only tells you how fast you should be getting water. Either way, for every 5 gallons of water that goes down the drain, you should be getting 1 good gallon.
I have my drain hose going into my washing machine, that way I dont waste water, I use it for the laundry.

is there any reason why the water thats coming out is warmer then what i have the faucet set at? should i turn the faucet water to alittle colder?
