RO/DI storage?

I just got my RO/DI - made 5 gals for a small water change. I have a decent amount of water pressure, so I can make my water quickly. SO I'm going to make some extra and leave the filter unused until I need it again. What do I need to do for temp storage? It has 7 cartridges - three pre-filters, one RO filter, and 3 DI filters.
Any tips? Thanks.

I have about 15 gallons of prepared ro water in 5g plastic gas tanks stored at room temperature ready for use, then these are poured into my plastic 1g water jugs for easy tank distribution.

I keep 30 gal in a trash can for top offs and 30 gals of salted RO in another trash can. Luckily we have the storage space to keep it in.

Is it necessary that the RO filter be kept at room temperature? I want to buy one but the only place I have room for one is in my garage that gets cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

Oh, I have another 15 gallons of NATURAL sea water for water changes, so I use my RO water just for top-offs.

Never more that 2 or 3 weeks, using the "older" and making the newer.

I always LOVED that set-up TX, but now I have a small tank and would never need that much H2O!

Just a quick question from a newbie........
Of course the RO water for large water changes needs to be mixed with salt, but when you do 1-2 gallon top offs does that need to be mixed with salt as well, or can you just use fresh RO water???

I've wondered if people did this or not. I live nowhere near saltwater, so not an option. But I wondered if natural saltwater was better than what we mix. And pretty cheap, eh?

awesome setup. are you going to setup an auto top-off system?
I'm going to have to set something like this up. Much easier than taking out and putting away. I have to plumb in the RO/DI still. I'm just trying to decide where to put it.

I've never thought of using gasoline tanks. I bet that would look interesting to walk in to somebody pouring water into the tank from a gasoline tanks!

Yes the gas containers are awesome, come with the spickets and tight fitting caps.

I keep a 5 gallon bucket full of RO/DI water under an end table next to the tank. It has a Maxijet 1200 in it that is hooked up to my auto top-off.
When my wife and I get our house built, I will plumb the auto top-off from my storage container to the tank.........
