Ok, so I got a couple huge buckets for my ro/di water, but am wondering what you can do to store it.... does it have keep moving/ keep warm/ etc? what do you need to do to keep it from going bad?

We have a setup where the RO/DI water is in a 55g container with a heater and a powerhead in it and on the floor below it we have a 35g container for RO/DI salt with the same setup (heater/ph). Keep the water moving, that should keep the water OK.

is the heater mainly to get the water to temp before adding to the DT? Or does it also keep it from going bad?
and if so, keeping the water moving keeps it from going "bad"? By keeping it from becoming stagnant?

I have no idea if the heater helps keeping the water from going bad, for us it's to get the water temp to the proper level for top-off use and also when running the water into the RODI salt, helps dissolve the salt faster.
Powerheads in the tank is to keep the water from becoming stagnant like you mentioned. We could be completely wrong, but this has worked for us and the TDS hasn't changed from 0.

well, if TDS isn't changing from 0, that has to be good, right? Just wondering... do you know if bacteria starts growing, I assume that the TDS will climb, correct? Or would they not register as total dissolved solids?
