ro/di suggestions

like the title says, i'm looking for some suggestions of good quality ro/di units in the 50gpd range. if "good" only comes in 100gpd, than so be it. any/all help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

hey tx- how long do your filters last? do you change them every 6 months, or after a certain volume of water filtered?

ISIS....I have always changed filters using the TDS meters. Many of the RO/DI units come with one, or you can buy one cheaply from the RO/DI company. Once the Total Dissolveable Solids gets over 15-20 I usually change filters. just the way I do things....

You should change 2 of the filters every six months. The DI resin should be replaced as needed (approx. 8 months depending on how bad your tap water is). Depending on how much water you make, the RO membrane should last 2-3 years.
Dual in line TDS meters are the way to go. This way you can check the TDS of the water coming out of the RO membrane and the water coming out of the DI. This will let you know when to change the RO membrane and the DI resin....
