The Typhoon Reefkeeping ro/di 5 stage ro/di is definitely an ro/di unit on a budget, and it looks like a pretty good deal. If you dont mind me asking, is this ro/di also worth the money? I am sure most people go with the Typhoon III but right now I cant get that one. Thanks and sorry for all of the questions, I am just trying to get some reviews here so I know which one to go with. There are just so many different ones and its hard to tell which ones truly do what they are claiming to do.

I suggest saving a couple hundred bucks and check out the most popular

site known to man. I did and got a six stage unit delivered for $105. Good luck.

So how do you like your unit??? Does it work as well as the company claims? Just making sure because I am changing over to a reef and want to get everything set up correctly.

i love it...and it works really well...it was probably one of the best purchases i have made for the tank....i have the 75gpd and it makes about 5 gallons in about 1.5 hours maybe a little less...for the money paid and the features that it comes with...it was better to go with that other than a more expensive unit like the spectra pure or kent

Well thanks a lot... That makes me feel much better about the airwaterice ro/di units. I am glad that some people on here were able to give me some different reviews on the ro/di units because that is always better than trying to read through all that "ours is the best" catalog stuff... Thanks again everyone, and others please feel free to join in if you like or dislike an ro/di unit that you have owned or know something about... Thanks again everyone!!!!

same here; my unit makes 5 gallons of ro/di in 1 hr at 60psi and 1hr and 15-20min if the psi is low (30-40 range). only thing i would look into is if the units came with the saddle valve to make sure they will fit onto the plumbing, otherwise you might have to think about putting them onto the faucet if they have the option of unscrewing in order to add the unit to it

i got the faucet adapter to go on to my laundry spicket...got a little Y splitter and hooked up the washer and the unit so i can switch back and forth and turn the unit on and off with out having to disconnect it all the time

I like my RO/DI unit from thefilterguys too. Just order the little c clamps separate they don't come with the filter.
